Inaugural Trip Itinerary

So as I said in the first post, my "scaled back" trip is shaping up to be quite impressive. As far as locations go, this is the plan:

• Newport News: September 9-12

• Washington DC: September 12-17

• New York City: September 17-23

• Boston: September 23-27/28 (the trip home trails into the next day)

• Home: September 28

I've got some pretty cool things planned for each location, too! I haven't gotten ALL of my touristy things planned, but I have some cool benchmark things planned. Here's a sampling of things planned in each city:

• Newport News: Not much because this is a trip to see a friend before my main travels start

• Washington DC: Holocaust Museum, nighttime monuments tour, Smithsonian Zoo

• New York City: Hadestown, Wicked, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert taping, MoMA, the Met, the Natural History Museum

• Boston: Whale watching tour, trip to Salem, Boston Aquarium

I can't wait for the adventure to begin!
