Days 2 and 3... check!

I'm rounding out my last evening in Newport News, Virginia. Tomorrow I get up early to catch the train to Washington DC. I'm scheduled to get in around noon. I'll head to my hotel and either check in early, or valet my bags and go exploring. My hotel will be two blocks from the White House, so that's super exciting.

My trip to Virginia was wonderful, as always (even if the cold I was catching before leaving kicked into full swing -- thank the medicine gods for Mucinex, Ventolin, and Afrin). It involved a lot of quality time and some really bad movies. And it ended with an argument over why pitchforks are/aren't the best way to remove dead babies from a dumpster. He was for are, I was for aren't. I made some pretty convincing arguments, and I believe I should be declared the winner of said argument.

(For those who were curious, I argued that a large metal snow shovel, while not the BEST utensil for removing dead babies from a dumpster, was a better method than a pitchfork.)

Tonight I'll be packing up my hotel room so I don't have much to do in the morning. And at 6:30 PM, the UCF Knights (my alma mater's football team) are paying against Bethune-Cookman College on ESPN+. All activity gets halted while the game is on because reasons.
